While much of our content — particularly our student finance section and CGPA Calculator — is relevant to young Nigerians who may be under 18, we do not direct any data collection mechanisms at minors.

TurnetFinance is based in Nigeria and primarily serves Nigerian users. However, some of the third-party services we use — including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Cloudflare, and advertising networks — may process your data on servers located outside Nigeria, including in the United States and European Union.

Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the following safeguards:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): For transfers to countries that do not have an adequacy decision, we rely on SCCs approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms under Nigerian data protection law.
• Adequacy decisions: Where the destination country has been deemed to provide adequate data protection by relevant authorities, we rely on this adequacy determination.
