✅ Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TurnetFinance in any way — including reading articles, using our free finance tools, subscribing to our newsletter, clicking affiliate links, or sharing content — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use this platform.

â„šī¸ About Us

1. About TurnetFinance

TurnetFinance (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Platform”) is a Nigerian digital finance content and tools platform operated at turnetfinance.com.ng. TurnetFinance is owned and operated by Abraham Adebisi and the TurnetFinance team, registered and operating in Nigeria.

Our mission is to provide Nigerians with free, accurate, and practical financial information, calculators, and comparison tools to help them make better money decisions in everyday Nigerian life. We cover topics including loan apps, cost of living, salary breakdowns, budgeting, savings, data plans, side hustles, and earning in foreign currency.

TurnetFinance is an information platform, not a financial institution. We do not offer loans, accept deposits, manage investments, provide insurance, or act as a broker, agent, or intermediary for any financial transaction. We are a publisher and information service.

👤 Eligibility

2. Who May Use This Platform

TurnetFinance is intended for use by individuals who are:

  • At least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher
  • Accessing the platform for personal, non-commercial informational purposes
  • Legally permitted to access financial information services in their country of residence
  • Not using the platform in any manner that violates these Terms or applicable Nigerian law

By using TurnetFinance, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you are under 18, you may only use this platform with the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

â„šī¸

For Nigerian Students & Young Adults

Much of our content is designed to help students and young Nigerians understand money. If you are under 18, please use this platform with a trusted adult and do not apply for any financial products without parental guidance.

🧮 Free Tools

3. Our Free Finance Tools — Scope & Limitations

TurnetFinance provides a suite of free Nigerian finance calculators and comparison tools including but not limited to the Loan Calculator, Monthly Budget Planner, Salary Breakdown Tool, Loan App Comparator, Cost of Living Calculator, Savings Goal Tracker, Data Plan Comparator, Rent Affordability Checker, Side Hustle Income Estimator, and Dollar Earnings Converter.

By using our tools, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Tools provide estimates only. All outputs — including loan repayment figures, tax calculations, cost of living estimates, and salary breakdowns — are mathematical estimates based on publicly available data and standard formulas. They are not guarantees of actual costs, earnings, or outcomes.
  • Data may be outdated. Nigerian loan rates, tax bands, data plan prices, and living costs change frequently. While we update our tools regularly, some figures may not reflect the most current market rates. Always verify critical figures directly with the relevant institution or service provider.
  • Tools do not account for individual circumstances. Our tools use general assumptions and cannot factor in your specific employment contract, personal tax situation, credit score, or individual lifestyle. Results should be treated as indicative, not definitive.
  • Tools are provided free of charge and without warranty. TurnetFinance reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time without notice.
  • No tool constitutes financial advice. See Section 4 for the full disclaimer on financial advice.
⚡

Tool Accuracy Commitment

We take tool accuracy seriously and review all calculators regularly against current Nigerian market data. If you believe a tool is producing incorrect results, please report it to info@turnetfinance.com.ng and we will investigate and update within 48 hours.

âš ī¸ Disclaimer

4. No Financial, Legal, or Investment Advice

This is one of the most important sections of these Terms. Please read it carefully.

đŸšĢ

TurnetFinance Does Not Provide Financial Advice

Nothing on turnetfinance.com.ng — including articles, blog posts, tool outputs, comparison results, rankings, reviews, newsletters, social media posts, or any other content — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice. All content is published for general informational and educational purposes only.

Specifically:

  • Our loan app reviews and comparisons are general assessments based on publicly available information. They are not personalised recommendations for your financial situation.
  • Our salary breakdown tool calculates estimates based on standard Nigerian PAYE formulas. Actual deductions depend on your specific employer, contract, and tax circumstances.
  • Our cost of living estimates are regional averages. Your actual costs will depend on your specific neighbourhood, lifestyle, and spending habits.
  • Our savings projections assume consistent contributions and stable interest rates. Actual savings outcomes depend on discipline, market conditions, and platform terms.
  • Any mention of specific interest rates, returns, or financial products is for informational comparison only and does not constitute a recommendation to apply, invest, or borrow.

Before making any significant financial decision — including taking a loan, opening a savings account, investing money, quitting your job, or relocating — please consult a qualified and licensed financial advisor, accountant, or legal professional. TurnetFinance is not liable for financial decisions made based on information obtained from this platform.

Šī¸ Intellectual Property

All content on TurnetFinance — including but not limited to articles, blog posts, tool interfaces, tool logic and calculations, design elements, graphics, illustrations, logos, brand identity, the TurnetFinance name, and the underlying code of all tools — is the exclusive intellectual property of TurnetFinance and its creators, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

This content is protected under:

Regarding third-party links, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • TurnetFinance has no control over the content, accuracy, privacy practices, fees, or availability of any linked third-party website or application

  • When you click a link to a third-party platform, you leave TurnetFinance and become subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policy of the destination site
  • TurnetFinance is not responsible for any financial loss, data breach, identity theft, or harm resulting from your use of a third-party platform accessed through a link on our site
  • Some links are affiliate links that earn TurnetFinance a commission — these are disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure Policy
  • The terms and interest rates of loan apps, savings platforms, and financial services change frequently. Always verify current terms directly with the platform before applying
💰 Advertising

9. Advertising, Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

TurnetFinance is a commercially supported platform. We earn revenue through advertising, affiliate commissions, sponsored content, lead generation, and other commercial arrangements as fully detailed in our Affiliate Disclosure & Monetization Policy.

By using TurnetFinance, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Advertisements from third-party networks may appear throughout the platform including in sidebars, within article content, as pop-up overlays, as push notifications (if you have opted in), and in other ad formats
  • You may encounter affiliate links where TurnetFinance earns a commission if you click and complete a qualifying action. This does not cost you anything extra.
  • Sponsored content will always be clearly labelled. If you believe any content is not properly labelled, please report it to us immediately.
  • Third-party advertisers on our platform operate independently and TurnetFinance is not responsible for the accuracy of their advertisements or the quality of their products
  • Pop-up and interstitial ads, where used, will always include a visible and functional close button

For detailed information on all advertising methods and affiliate relationships, please read our full Affiliate Disclosure Policy.

âš ī¸ Disclaimers

10. Disclaimers of Warranty

đŸ›Ąī¸ Liability

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, TurnetFinance, its founders, team members, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct damages arising from your use of or reliance on the platform, including financial losses from decisions made based on our content or tools

Since TurnetFinance is a free platform, this amount is â‚Ļ0 (zero naira) in most cases.

💡

Why This Limitation Matters

This limitation is standard for free information platforms worldwide. It exists because our tools are estimates — not certified financial assessments. For significant financial decisions involving large sums of money, please always use a qualified professional in addition to our free tools.

âš–ī¸ Indemnification

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TurnetFinance, its founders, team members, contributors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:
